Overview

The Web Discounts feature can be used to offer simple percentage discounts for online orders. 

This feature is useful where there no promotional period applies, and therefore no start/end dates are required.

Step-by-step guide

To Configure Web Discounts:

  1. Login as an Administrator.

  2. Navigate to Settings → Settings (/zSettings.aspx).

  3. Click the Orders tab. 

  4. Click the Web Discounts tab.

  5. Click New in the Web Discounts table to create a new discount, or click Modify to edit an existing one.

  6. Update the values as required for:
    1. Customer Code
    2. Stock Group
    3. Discount Percent
    4. Action - Append or Override

  7. Click OK to save.


For Customer Code and Stock Group you can use the percent (%) wild-card to select more than one customer code, for example:

  • % for all customers
  • A% for all customers starting with the letter A
  • A%B for all customers starting with the letter A and ending with the letter B

The discount Action will perform one of two actions:

  • Append to append the web discount to any discounts already applied from PRONTO
  • Override to override any PRONTO discounts
