TIP - In most cases, Blank or Current Frame is used. Top Frame or and Parent Frame is are for advanced users.

  • Blank: new window/tab
  • Current Frame: page opens in the same window as link. 
  • Top Frame: page opens in the full body of the window.
  • Parent frame: page opens in the immediate parent of the frame. It is used when there may be several nested frames and this allows more control over which frames are specified.
