Many text prompts in standard pages can be changed by defining resources in the CMS. This allows customers to customise messages that appear on the website. Customer Self Service uses a function called "resources" to define messages. These can easily be changed by the system administrator. 

Step-by-step guide

 

  1. To know if a message is customised using a resource, search for the text in the resource maintenance page:
    1. Login is as administrator
    2. Go to Content - Resource Manager (call Commerce Vision if this is not set up on your admin menu)
    3. Search for the text 
    4. If you find it - then it is a resource that can be customised
  2. Use the modify option to change the text in the resource value.
  3. Update
  4. Go to Settings --> Dictionary --> Refresh Cache to force the change into the application's cache
