Custom Templates for Articles

Whilst our default Article layout is pretty sweet, there might be times you'd prefer to create your own custom layout.  Luckily, now you can!

We've added a new feature so that you can create new article templates and assign them to individual articles as you please. If you've ever created a custom Category Template, you'll already know how this works.

If not, read on.

Step-by-step guide

To create and assign Article Templates, you'll need to follow these steps.

  1. In the CMS, navigate to Settings → Feature Management → Articles.
  2. Click 'Configure' and toggle on the feature 'Use Zoned Article Template' to enable. Save your change.
  3. Now under the Content menu, you should see a new item called 'Article Templates'. Navigate there.
