Locking is part of Commerce Vision's Franchiser and Multi-site multisite website features.

Overview

For multi-site multisite control, specific administrator roles on the parent a deploying site can lock banners and articles, or individual objects within them, i.e., zones, layout and widgets, then deploy these locked (and unlocked) statuses to child sites. Child site users cannot add, edit or delete a locked object. If a whole template is locked, none of its objects can be changed. 


When locking is enabled, Locked/Unlocked buttons appear against lockable objects. Locked are automatically displayed but unlocked buttons display only on hover.
