Creating and maintaining order templates allows Order templates allow users to save the contents of a current order for use as a template for future orders. An order template can then be copied partially, or entirely into onto a users user's current order at any time in the future time

Some examples of order templates could be:

  • Products that a user orders on a regular basis;
  • Products that a sales representative orders for a particular customer.

An order templates template can also be stored at a company level, enabling all users associated with that company Customer Code to view and use these templates also.

To use an Order Template:

  1. Navigate to the 'Order Templates' page on the site. Usually this is under 'My Account' or 'Orders. You will see any '. 
  2. A list of previously saved Templates will be displayed.
  3. Select 'View' on the required Order Template you would like to use.
  4. Select Click 'Copy Items to Current Order or equivalent'.
  5. A confirmation message will display that items have been added to your current the cart.
  6. Navigate to the cart page Current Order/Shopping Cart to view the items that have copied to your current orderbeen copied from the Template.

Creating To Create an Order Template:

  1. Browse or search for products and add them to the shopping cart.
  2. Navigate to the shopping cart or orders page.
  3. Select Save Order to Template or equivalent.
  4. Enter the name of the template.
  5. Select Create or Save or equivalent.
  6. A message will display that order has been saved.
  7. Navigate to the Order Templates page.
  8. Select View on the Order Template just created.

Viewing an Order Template

  1. Navigate to the Order Templates page on the site. Usually this is under My Account or Orders.
  2. Select View on the Order Template you would like to view.


Adding to To Add to an Existing Order Template:

  1. Browse or search for products and add them to the shopping cart.
  2. Navigate to the shopping cart or orders page.
  3. Select Save Order to Template or equivalent.
  4. Enter the name of an existing template that you wish to append to.
  5. Select Create or Save or equivalent.
  6. Select Append
  7. A message will display that order has been saved.
  8. Navigate to the Order Templates page.
  9. Select View on the Order Template that has been updated.

Overwriting an Order Template:

  1. Browse or search for products and add them to the shopping cart.
  2. Navigate to the shopping cart or orders page.
  3. Select Save Order to Template or equivalent.
  4. Enter the name of an existing template that you wish to append to.
  5. Select Create or Save or equivalent.
  6. Select Overwrite.
  7. A message will display that order has been saved.
  8. Navigate to the Order Templates page.
  9. Select View on the Order Template that has been overwritten.


Updating To Update an Order Template:

  1. Navigate to the Order Templates page on the site. Usually this is under My Account or Orders.
  2. Select View on the Order Template you would like to view.
  3. To clear the quantities of all lines, select Clear Quantities from the options at the bottom of the order grid.
  4. To re-sequence the lines on the template, use the drop down selection in the re-sequence column for each line.
  5. Select Save Template Changes to then save the changes to your template.


Deleting To Delete an Order Template:

  1. Navigate to the Order Templates page on the site. Usually this is under My Account or Orders.
  2. Select Delete on the Order Template you would like to delete.

 

Company Templates

 

To use Company Templates some set up is required and there are 2 options when it comes to allowing usage of these templates. Keeping in mind the template will be available to all user's of the same debtor code. The options are:

Customer
    1. Navigate to CustomerMaintenance. (CustomerMaintenance.aspx)

    2. Search and select the customer to set up Company Templates for.

    3. Select the Customer Details Tab.

    4. Select Modify.

    5. Update the setting "Allow Creation of Company Order Templates" to "Yes"

User Customer:
    1. Log in as a CSS Administrator or equivalent administration role.
    2. Navigate to Advanced User Maintenance. (UserMaintenance.aspx)
    3. Search for and select the user to be permitted to use Company Templates.
    4. Select the Accounts Tab.
    5. Select the Customer Code.
    6. Select Modify.
    7. Update the setting "Allow Creation of Company Order Templates" to "Yes"


 User
    1. Log in as a CSS Administrator or equivalent administration role.
    2. Navigate to User Maintenance. (zUsers.aspx)
    3. Search for and select the user to be permitted to use Company Templates.
    4. Select Modify.
    5. Update the setting "Allow Creation of Company Order Templates" to "Yes"


Note

"Allow Creation of Company Order Templates" must be set to yes on the Customer and User Customer record as a minimum for the option to save as a company template or view existing company templates will be available.

  2. Company Templates will have "Yes" recorded against them in the "Company Template" column.
  3. Select View on the Company Template you would like to use.

  6. Navigate to the cart page to view the items that have copied to your current order.
