Customer Self Service allows for Administrators can allow the user to enter order line notes to be entered by the user during checkout . An example of this might be a stationery requestioner noting the staff member for whom the product is being orderedor in an order template. A line note may be helpful, for instance, to direcct a stationery product to a specific staff member or department

This functionality function is configured enabled at the role Role level, as detailed below.

Step-by-step guide

To Configure configure Order Line Notes:

  1. Login as an Administrator.
  2. Navigate to 'Accounts' --> 'Role Maintenance' In the CMS, go to UsersRole Maintenance (/zRoles.aspx).

  3. Select Use the Search tool to find the required role via Role.

  4. Cick the radio button for the Role.

  5. Click the 'Functions' tab tab.

  6. Click 'Modify'.

  7. Set the value of the field 'Scroll down to Enable Order Line Notes' to 'Yes' or 'No' as required.Click 'OK' to save and select Yes to enable, or No to disable.
