The session timeout setting exists at the system and role level. If a role has a session timeout setting value set then this will override the system setting value.
NOTE: The system setting is only available in the advanced menu and as such is at the discretion of Commerce Vision as to whether the authentication details are provided to the user.
Step-by-step guide
Setting the session timeout period at System level.
- Log in to the website as a user with access to an administrator role
- Navigate to zSettings.aspx (Usually found in menu under Settings > Settings)
- Select the Advanced tab
- Enter the required authentication details
Enter the value in minutes for session timeout to be set against the field - Session Timeout (minutes)
