Generate a new API key for eWAY. |
To generate a new API key, you will need to create a new user. On creation of the new user, a corresponding API key will also be generated.
Together with the password, the username + API key will become the login credentials for the serviceAPI Keys are used for authentication for some of eWAY's payment solutions. When you were created as new eWAY user with the eWAY payment method selected, corresponding API keys would have been generated. The eWAY Secure Fields solution (eWAY Direct Connection API) requires the Public API Key.
To retrieve the Public API key for your site,
- Login to you MYeWAY account.
- Hover the mouse on the My Account tab located at the top of the page, then click API Key.
- Scroll down the page until you come to the Pay Now Button section, where you should see the Pay Now Button Public API key. The key is the full set of letters and numbers in the box.
- Copy the key and submit it to Commerce Vision.
