Overview

On occasion, website administrators might need Administrators may want to remove a user from the database completely. In this case, the user can be deleted via the Customer Self Service applicationThis is done either in Website User Maintenance in the CMS or on the website in User Maintenance. Users with active orders cannot be deleted.

To turn off the Confirm step, on the website, go to Settings → General. Untick Show Confirm On Grid Delete/Remove.

  2. Use the Search for tool to find the required user account.

There is a system setting to toggle whether a confirmation is requested when deleting a user. The setting is called 'Show Confirm On Grid Delete/Remove' and is found under the 'General' Tab in System Settings.

  1. A user with active orders cannot be deleted. To check active orders, go to Order Tracking for the user and check for active orders submitted by the user.
