Customer Self Service allows for particular Administrators can set some products to be displayed to customers without being available for sale.
There are several parameters for defining order restriction products:

but prevent them from being purchased online. For example, some brands may only be bought in-store (e.g. Apple products). But you still want them displayed so your customers know you stock them.
Order restriction products can be set by:
- Web Condition Code
- By Customer Code
- By Territory Code
- By Product Code
- By Category Code
- By Product Sales Type
- By Warehouse Code

Step-by-step guide
To Enable Order Restrictions:

1. Enable and configure order restrictions
- Go to Settings → Settings → Orders.
- Click on the 'Restrictions and Charges' tab tab.
- Scroll to the 'Order Restrictions' section section.
- Locate the setting 'Tick Enable Order Restrictions' and ensure the box is ticked.
- In the field labelled 'Invalid Web Condition Codes', enter a comma-separated list of Condition Codes which are not valid for online ordering (if any).
- Click the 'Update' button at bottom the top of the page.
- Return to the 'Order Restrictions' section section.
- In the table, click 'New'.
- Set the value for 'In Customer Restriction Type' in the drop-down list , set the value:
- Customer Code
- Territory Code
- In the 'Customer Restriction Code' field, enter the Customer or Territory Code to restrict.
- Set the value for 'In Product Restriction Type' in the drop-down list, set the value:
- Product Code
- Category Code
- Sales Type
- In the'Product Restriction Code' field, enter the Product Code, Category Code, or Sales Type to restrict.
- In the 'Warehouse Code' field, enter the Customer Warehouse to restrict (optional).

'Split-Products' can be used to separate records where multiple Product Restriction codes have been entered in a comma-separated list. A new record will be created for each value in the 'Product Restriction Code' field, with the value of all other fields copied over.

- NOTE - Enter '%' as the warehouse code if you do not want to target specific warehouse.
- To save changes, click OK.
- Repeat steps 8-15 to continue adding new Order Restrictions.
2. Refresh Cache
For changes to be live on your site, refresh the Product Cache and reset the Dictionary. See: Reset the Product Cache
- Go to Settings → Settings → Cache Management.
- Select Clear Cache for Product Cache.
- Select Clear Cache for Dictionary & Template Reset.
