MultiExcerptNameFeature Overview

Credit Card Fee Override allows any applicable default surcharge rate rates in the system to be overriden for payment of account invoices by a specific Role or Usernominated Roles and/or Users. This feature is available for version 4.17 and higher, and must be switched on and set up by CV Support. 


Credit card fee Card Fee Override is available for credit card payment of invoices by Role or User.  An Once set up, at the Pay Accounts page, an applicable user paying an invoice can enter the actual a new percentage rate within a set range for an invoice at the Pay Accounts page.  This feature assumes that the following has been :

  • a default rate (0.01% or higher) is active in the system for the customer

To enable , ensure this option is turned on in 'Settings'.  

  1. In the CMS, navigate to Settings → Settings.

  2. Select the Orders tab.

  3. Select the Credit Cards tab.

  4. Set 'Allow Credit Card Payments (Moved to Setting Def)'  to Yes Both Order and Account Payment.

  5. Click Update.

 When the feature is set up by CV, you supply details about each Override: (i) the Role(s) and User(s) that will have access to the Override, and (ii) the override fee range: minimum and maximum fees (%).    


Switching on When the Credit Card Override feature affects is switched on, the Account Payment page will display  if the User or their Role has been set up for an override and the user selects to pay by credit card. To enable payment of invoices by credit card, ensure this option is turned on in 'Settings'.
