Allowing Users With Multiple Accounts to Track All Orders


Overview



In Customer Self Service, a system setting controls whether B2B users can see and track the orders for ALL accounts they have access to, or just for account they are currently operating on. This article guides site Administrators in updating the relevant flag to enable or disable this function.


 


Step-by-step guide

To Allow Multiple Account Users to View All Orders:

  1. Login as an Administrator.
  2. Navigate to 'Preferences' --> 'System Preferences' (/zPrefs.aspx).
  3. Click the 'Browse' tab.
  4. In the 'Order Search Options' section, tick the 'Include all MultiAccount Customer Orders' flag.
    If this is not ticked, the Order History page will only include those orders for the current account.
  5. Click the 'Update' button to save.


Additional Information



This functionality is not available where Live order enquiries are made, due to speed considerations with the ERP query. Only sites using standard order tracking can enable this function.

Prerequisites



This functionality does not operate from the PRONTO Bill-To structure. The accounts MUST be set up in the CSS Multi Customer area against the user. This allows for more flexibility in control over the accounts.
