This feature needs to be implemented for your site by Commerce Vision. For versions 4.37+.
Overview
Sales tax, e.g., GST in Australia, is normally country-based. Because of this, only one globally applicable value needs to be set on your Commerce Vision site. For instance, if you're selling just to Australian customers, then you only need the one rate of 10%. What if your site is shared between two countries or you want to sell to customers from another country with a different tax rate?
Creating and assigning a Role to customers based a particular county, then setting a sales tax rate against that Role, is a way a sales tax rate different to the global one can be applied to particular subgroup of customers.
