  • Page:
    Price and discount overrides by Reps or similar users — Price and discount override functionality is now available in BPD. This enables Sales Reps, Customer Service Team members or similar, to change the price/discount for products as they are added to the cart (as well as products already in the cart).

    Customisable text on Favourites buttons — Text on the product Favourites button is now customisable. The administrator can edit the button label with different text dependent on whether the product is already in the Favourites list.

    Ability to request and accept quotes for B2C — There is now the ability for B2C users (or B2B users with $0 credit limit), to request and accept a quotation online. On acceptance of a quote, the user is immediately redirected to a payment screen to process and finalise the order.

    Adding new items to cart during PayPal Express checkout — The PayPal Express process has been enhanced to allow the addition of new items to the cart after the process has already begun.

    Notify Me functionality — 'Notify Me' functionality can now be implemented in BPD, enabling users to receive an email notification when out of stock products become available.

    Icons for navigation menu — Functionality has been added which allows icons to be displayed in the navigation menu.

    Gift card functionality — Gift Cards, either Customer Self Service or PRONTO generated, may now be used as a payment type for orders. An administrator's maintenance page has also been added for viewing, editing, and importing gift cards.

    Ability to disable product hyperlinks — A new option has been added to the Order Tracking, Order Templates, and Zoned Product List widgets, allowing the administrator to remove the product hyperlink.

    New Product Detail layout with Aside — A new layout for the Product Detail template has been created, adding an 'aside right' zone to the content area. The layout consists of the following zones: Title, Aside Right, Main Left, Main Right, Bottom, Full Bottom.

    News archive page — A new layout-based News Archive page has been created for BPD.
  • Page:
    No Mobile option added to Article and Campaign lists — The 'no mobile' class has been added to the Article List and Campaign Slider widgets. This enables the hiding of these widgets on mobile devices if required.

    Product variant tagging and image switching — New functionality has been added to allow the tagging of product variants, as well as the ability to assign different images to each variant and switch between them on selection of product options.     Order Reference field for B2C customers — The ability to request an Order Reference from B2C users at checkout has now been added.

Fixes

  • Page:
    PRONTO Gift cards — Two issues with PRONTO gift cards were corrected in this release:
    1. in the reversal transaction log, card reversals had an incorrect order number (reversal transaction log).
    2. the expiry date was not being obeyed.
  • Page:
    Copy to current order with charge lines — Some users were experiencing issues copying an order from Order History to their shopping cart, where charge lines existed in the historical order. This has been fixed.
  • Page:
    B2B Multiple delivery addresses causing freight error — In some instances, the selection of a delivery address from the drop-down list would fail to set the address, resulting in a freight error. This has been fixed.
  • Page:
    Products in cart after PayPal Express checkout — Where users checked out with PayPal Express, occasionally their products remained in the cart. This has been corrected.
  • Page:
    PayPal Express and guest checkout — A modification was made to the PayPal Express process to associate Guest orders with a registered user based on the PayPal Express login's email address.
  • Page:
    Default delivery instructions — The DeliveryAddress record will now default to the Customer/Account delivery instructions if no specific order-related instructions have been entered at checkout.


New Widgets

  • Page:
    Stock Availability Popup Widget — Displays a button in the cart next to out of stock products. The button launches a popup window so the user can elect to be notified when products are back in stock.
  • Page:
    Alternates Popup Widget — Used in alternate product substitution functionality to render a popup window with alternate products when the User clicks a 'Show Alternates' button in the Cart.
  • Page:
    Stock Availability List Widget — Displays a list of products the user has requested to be notified of once they arrive back into stock.
  • Page:
    Alternates Order Line Widget — Places a 'Show Alternates' button against unavailable products in the cart.
  • Page:
    Alternate Product Substitute Widget — Places the 'Substitute' button on products in the Alternates Popup.
