Locking is a part of Commerce Vision's ecommerce platform's multisite features. Requires version 4.37+. |
Overview
Templates and pages are layouts that add and arrange structure the content of webpages on your website. For multi-site multisite control of content, administrator specific roles on the parent a controlling site can lock whole templates and pages, or individual objects within them, i.e., zones, layout and widgets, then deploy these locked (and unlocked) statuses to child sites. .
Child site users cannot add, edit or delete a locked object. If a whole template is locked, none of its objects can be changed.

When Content Lock on a site is enabled, Locked/Unlocked buttons appear locked/unlocked toggles display against lockable objects. Locked statuses are automatically displayed but . The unlocked buttons toggle display only on when you hover over the object.
