Deploy Content is a Commerce Vision multisite feature. It must be enabled by Commerce Vision. Also requires:

  • Product Features enabled (if Product Features is used)
  • LTS 2022.3.


Overview

For multisite control, deploying site CMS Administrator and Content Administrator roles can can publish product details to destination sites. Note that this content is non-lockable. Content Manager roles on these sites can add, edit or delete deployed product details. 


What can be deployed?

In general, data available through Product Maintenance in Online mode can be deployed.

  • Product Information
  • Categories for a product
  • SEO fields
  • Custom fields
  • Product media (images and videos)
  • Features
  • Accessories
  • Alternates
  • Product Variant details.

Step-by-step guide

1. Enable Deploy Product Content

  1. In the CMS, go to Settings Settings Feature Management → Content Deploy Content.

  2. Ensure Deploy Content is enabled, then click Configure.
     

  3. In Deployment, toggle ON Product Maintenance. Also toggle ON Product Features if in use on your site, 

  4. Click Save or Save & Exit

Once Deploy Product Maintenance is enabled, you can deploy content from a single product or from multiple products. 

2. Deploy a Single Product

Content

To deploy content of a single product features:

  1. Go to E-commerceProducts & CategoriesProduct Features.

     When you're ready to deploy, click the Deploy button.

  2.  Use Search to find the product, then click Edit for the product.

  3. In the Maintain Product page, hover over Options, then select Deploy

  4. Toggle ON the product data types to deploy.

  5. Click Next.

  6. Toggle ON one or more destination sites.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Check that the data and destination sites are correct.

  9. To initiate deployment, click Deploy.

  10. The next screen displays Success or Failure details. If successful, you can click on the link to view the Content Deployment log entry for this deployment instance.
