Lock and Deploy Content are part of Commerce Vision's Multisite features. Implementation requires consultation with Commerce Vision. Deploying and destination sites must be on the same version (min. 2022.2).

Overview

For multisite control, CMS Administrators of the deploying site can lock campaigns, then deploy these campaigns to the destination sites. Only locked campaigns can be deployed. CMS users of these on destination sites will not be able to add, edit or delete locked deployed campaigns.

Use case: Franchise HQ is launching a nationwide sales campaign to promote a specific set of products in the month of August. All franchisee sites will be participating. The CMS Content Manager creates the whole campaign on the deploying site.

What campaign data is deployable?

  • Campaign details (description, start/end dates)
  • Campaign page SEO details
  • Campaign products

When the Content Lock feature is enabled, lock toggles display on lockable objects. A locked toggle is always displayed when a campaign is locked. If not set, the toggle displays only when the user hovers over the space. Just toggle ON/OFF to lock and unlock a campaign.
