If you remove a Child Product from a Master Product, the existing Child Product's images need to be manually deleted.

  1. Go to Products & CategoriesProduct Maintenance.  

  2. Use Search for and Edit a to find the Master product. 

  3. Click Edit for a Master product. 

  4. Add a one child product ( or several) more to the master product.
    TIP - Ensure that each child product has an at least one image against it. If the child product has more than one image, all of them All child images will be copied across to the master.

  5. Once you've added all required child products, click Save. 

  6. On reload of the page, you'll see that the image from each child product has been added to the master, and has been automatically tagged with its variant option(s).
