This guide will outline how to enable the zoned layout for your article detail pages.

Template Layout  

1. Navigate to Settings → Feature Management → Content.
   
   
2. Configure the Articles featureEnsure Articles is toggled on, then click Configure.

3. Tick the option to 'In the Article Feature Settings screen, toggle on Use Zoned Article Template'.

4. Click Save & Exit.

2. Customise the Article Page Zoned template 

1. Navigate to Content → Standard Pages→ Pages & Templates → Articles. 
   
   
2. Select Click Edit for the 'Article Page Zoned' template template.

3. The default widgets will be present on in the template (Article Title, Article Image, Article Date, to name a few).
    Image Removed. Edit the options for existing widgets if required.
    
4. To change the entire layout of the article page, click Change in the layout preview panel. Follow our Layout Creator guide for instructions on how to select another layout or create your own custom article layout!

5. Drag and drop widgets to re-order them or move into different page zones, or add and delete widgets as needed.
   For example, add an HTML Snippet widget to display a company logo or chat icon in the corner of every news article. 
   
6. Edit the options for existing widgets if required.

8. To change the entire layout of the article page, click 'Change' in the layout preview panel. Follow our Layout Creator guide for instructions on how to create your own custom article layout!
