B2B Registration is a mechanism which allows a Wholesale customer trade (wholesale or business) customer user to register for B2B access and have their account linked to a PRONTO an ERP debtor account, receiving . Such users will receive that account's default settings (i.e. Pricing, Warehouse, Contract Information etc)


If your website allows B2B users, there will be a link for trade users to register in the Login modal window

When a customer user registers, they will be asked a set of questions including:  

  • Contact Name
  • Customer Code
  • Company
  • Password
  • Are you an existing PRONTO registered user
  • PRONTO Customer CodeCustomer Account Code

The idea is for the customer user to pre-fill their details which . This means the Administrator will only have to review the pre-filled information and either approve, or contact the customer for more information.

  • The Administrator receives an email indicating a Customer has registered for Wholesale Accesstrade access.
  • The Administrator will then review the information and approve the account as required (if auto part registration is enabled).
  • The End User will receive an email indicating their account has been approved and can proceed to login.

Add user approval step

Enable user approval

If Auto Part Registration is enabled, a B2B user who registers for a login on your website will need to be reviewed and approved by the eCommerce Team. Until then, the user is partially registered. This means the user exists in the system but cannot login to your website. 


To add a user approval step to the registration process:

  1. In the CMS, navigate to SettingsFeature ManagementUser.

  2. Toggle ON Auto Part Registration.

Approve a user

If user approval is enabled, the Administrator will receive an email that a B2B user has registered.

To approve a user:

  1. In the CMS, navigate to Users → Website Users.

  2. Use the User Search tool to find the user. You can search by email address (from the email notification).

  3. Select the record via radio button. 
  4. The 'User Details' page will load.
  5. Verify key user data, such as:
    • Customer Code
    • Initial Role After Login 
  6. If all is correct, click 'Approve User'Image Added
  7. You can either approve the user without reviewing details or review details, then approve.

    1. To approve the user without reviewing details, click the Approve User button. The user will be
    notified by email of the approval
    1. approved and receive the welcome email.

    2. To review the user's details before approving, click Edit

  8. If any of the information is incorrect (e.g., Customer Code), click 'Modify' and make the necessary changes.
  9. Click 'OK' to save.

      1. The user's details page will load. Check and correct user information as required. You can edit any of these details and assign additional Roles and Customer accounts if required.
      2. To approve the user, a the top of the click Save & Approve. The user will be approved and receive the welcome email.
