We've improved our standard workflow when adding a new widget to a template. Now, the widget Options window will open automatically for you to configure settings straight away. We've also added an 'enable' toggle near the Save button, so you can decide whether you're ready to have the new widget active as soon as you add it.
This should save quite a few clicks for the busy CMS user.
