Field prompts in Customer Self Service can be changed using the Dictionary tool.

Step-by-step guide

To change a CSS field prompt:

  1. Login as an Administrator.
  2. Navigate to 'Settings' --> 'Dictionary' (/Dictionary.aspx).
  3. Enter the table name of the table you want to change the prompt for. See below for common tables.
  4. Search for the required field.
  5. Click 'Modify' function and change the prompt as desired. 
  6. Click 'RefreshCache' at the top of the page to load the information to the website's cache.

 

Common Tables
