Only locked campaigns can be deployedenable Campaign Lock. This allows campaigns to be locked. Once locked, a campaign can be  deployed to destination sites. The CMS Content Manager creates the whole October. It wants the campaign promoted on the homepage of all franchisee sites. Remember that apart from the campaign itself, setting up a campaign to display on a site needs other content and settings items need to be in place . This means other objects need to be configured and deployed. For instance, you will have to:

  • configure and deploy the page/template the campaign is to display on
  • on the page/template, add a campaign slider configured to render this campaign
  • ensure the products in the campaign are available on destination sites

on a destination site for the campaign to display properly.

Supporting content objects for a campaign required include:

    • the page that displays the campaign
    • on that page, a campaign slider widget to render the campaign
    • products promoted in the campaign.

These may need to be created, configured and/or deployed.
