Give your customers the ability to add items to their cart, then request a quote from you. These 'wishlists' are captured in PRONTO as 'Quote' order types, and can be valuable lead-generation tools.  

Once the quote is in your ERP, you simply follow your existing internal workflows for dealing with customer quote requests.


 

To enable online quoting, there are three main tasks (step-by-step instructions are below):

  1. In the CMS, navigate to ContentEmails.

  2. Search for 'quote' and you'll see 2 options:
    • Quote Confirmation - the email your customer gets when they submit a quote request
    • Standard Quote Submitted - the internal email sent to your staff to advise of a new quote request

  3. Select the Quote Confirmation Email template. This is the email your customer gets when they submit a quote request. 

  4. You can edit any of the existing widgets, or add new ones. In the example below, I added a Static Content Widget to display the 'thank you' subtitle text.

 


Now, your And voila! Your customers can now easily request a quote on the items in their cart! You'll .

Your admin staff will receive a 'Quote Submitted' email, and your customer will receive the customer can go back to 'Quote Confirmation' email.  

Your customer can also review the quote detail in their Order History page to see the quote detail.

From here, you simply follow your own internal processes for dealing with quote requests.
