Overview

Customer Self Service's Product Review functionality allows customers to submit feedback about a product or service. These reviews are displayed on the product detail page of the website, and can influence and inform other users during the purchase process. 

For this reason, it's important for customer-submitted content to be vetted by an Administrator prior to display on the website. Holding product reviews for an Administrator to approve or reject allows the opportunity to filter out spam or other inappropriate content.

Step-by-step guide

To Manage Product Reviews: 

  1. Login as an Administrator. 
  2. Navigate to 'Content' --> 'Product Reviews' (/ProductReviewApproval.aspx).
  3. A list of pending reviews will be displayed.


  4. Records can be filtered by status: 
    • Approved
    • NOT Approved
    • Rejected
  5. Select the required record via radio button.
  6. If required, click 'Modify' to edit the content, then click 'OK' to save. 
  7. Approve or Reject the review by clicking the relevant button against the record. 
  8. Approved product reviews will now appear on the website.
