Overview


The Cart Summary link can produce a popup window for the user to preview and check cart contents and costs without leaving the page they're viewing.


From 4.37+, the option for users to edit quantities in Cart Preview is available.

Step-by-step guide 

Add Cart Preview on Hover

  1. In the CMS, go to Content → Theme Layout.

  2. Locate the Cart Summary Widget and click Edit.

  3. Tick the Cart Preview on Hover? option.
     
  4. Click to expand the Cart Preview On Hover widget options.

  5. Update values as required. See: Cart Summary Widget. 

     

  6. Click Save.

  7. In another browser or incognito window, launch your website.
     
  8. Add products to the cart and hover over the cart link. 

  9. Verify that the summary pop-up appears on hover.



Allow Quantity Updates in Cart Preview 

From 4.37+, you can allow users to update quantities in the Cart Summary popup. 

In the Cart Summary Widget:

  1. Click Cart Preview on Hover tab.

  2. Toggle ON Enable Cart Editing?.

  3. (Optional) Toggle ON Enable Cart Editing Auto Update? to automatically update cart totals without manual updating by the user.
