Widget Use

Shows the user registration form and allows a new user to enter their details and create an account.

Where can the Widget be placed?

The widget can be used in the following templates:

User Id Required As EmailThis determines if the Email Address field will only accept text in email format (eg someone@somewhere.com). If unticked, User Notify Notify Email option is disabled.

Use Notify EmailIf this option is ticked, a non mandatory field will appear to the user that will request a notification email address that emails will be sent to. Automatically true if user id required as email is false

Use Confirm EmailShows a confirm email box asking the user to reenter their email address to confirm they have entered it correctly

First Name RequiredDetermines if the user is required to enter a first name.

Show Phone NumberIf unticked, no field requesting a Phone Number will appear when the user registers a new account. If ticked there will be a Phone Number field.

Phone Number RequiredThis option determines if a new user is required to enter a phone number in order to proceed past the the registration page

Prompt For Promo MaterialIf this option is ticked an option will appear for the user to sign up to be on a mailing list from promotional content.

Show Terms and Conditions CheckboxIf this option is ticked it will display an option for the user to indicate whether that have read the terms and condition or not.

Default is: Unticked

Ticking Terms and Conditions Checkbox RequiredIf this option is ticked it will not allow a user to proceed past the registration page if they have not indicated that they have read the terms and conditions of the site by ticking the "I have read the terms & conditions" box.

Default is: Unticked

Show Validation Messages In Message BoxWhen this option is ticked, if the user attempts to register an account without entering valid content into mandatory fields, an Error Message will appear detailing which fields are still required.

Default is: Ticked

Password Rule PromptAny text that is entered in this option, will appear above the password fields as flat text.Default is: null 
Customer CodeOnly required if the registration customer code will be different to the global B2C registration customer codeDefault is: null

Password Mismatch Error MessageIf the password and password confirmation fields do not match and the user attempts to register and login, the password confirmation field will turn red and when the user hovers over the field a message will appear to the user. The text entered in this field determines the text displayed here.Default is: Your passwords do not match. Please try again 
Email Mismatch Error MessageIf the email and re-enter email fields do not match and the user attempts to register and login, the re-enter email field will turn red and when the user hovers over the field a message will appear to the user. The text entered in this field determines the text displayed here.Default is: Your email addresses do not match. Please try again 
Terms Checkbox PromptText entered into this option will appear next to the terms and condition checkbox underneath the password fields.Default is: I have read the terms & conditions 
Terms Checkbox Not Ticked MessageIf the user has not ticked the terms and condition checkbox and the user attempts to register and login, the text will turn red and when the user hovers over the text a message will appear to the user. The text entered in this field determines the text displayed here.Default is: You must agree to the terms and conditions 
Register Button PromptDetermines the text within the button that allows users to submit their details and login.Default is: Register & Login 
Register Button IconDetermines the icon that appears in the Register & Login ButtonDefault is: cv-ico-general-user-add 
Details Section TitleThe details section title is the text that heads the details section.Default: Your Details 
Details Section IconThe icon that appears in the header of the details section.Default is: cv-ico-general-pencil 
Password Section TitleThe password section title is the text that heads the password section.Default: Create Password 
Password Section IconThe icon that appears in the header of the password section.Default is: cv-ico-general-key 
Additional Register Field ColumnsDetermines how many additional field columns are present on the register page.Default is: 2
