This feature needs to be switched on for your site by Commerce Vision.
The Online Quotes mode is maintained and managed entirely on your website. Unlike the Standard mode, it does not rely on your ERP's quoting system. Note that if the Order Approvals feature is active, budget limits set up on a customer or user account will automatically be applied for online-generated quotes, and the approval procedure triggered.

Customer Experience
A customer user adds products and quantities to cart. In the Payment section at Checkout, instead of selecting a payment option, they click Request a Quote.
